LN low angle block plane.
just feels good in the hand.
And I love to use it to plane the profile on things like the dining table
and cabinet I made. One of my favourite things to do with a plane.
Cheers

There are a few favourite planes.
My wife would say that her favourite is the one in December that takes us to the States and Canada to visit friends. I'm looking forward to some time with Rob Lee and his family .. not to mention exploring the LV factory.
Then there is the Orange Block Plane, as it brings memories of my son and I having fun together several years ago ...
The Orange Block Plane – a review
And lastly, but not least, in the event of a fire I would grab this little woodie before any other ...
One little plane, a 9" smoother in Hornbeam

My Vertias BU smoother works a treat. For jointing boards and flattening panels a Stanley no 7
My age is still less than my number of posts

That would be good in the kitchen for shaving the parmadin cheeseTwo things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I´m not so sure about the universe.

So hard to choose just one
I really like my Stanley 140 ( I actually have 4 of them. Planning on making 3 good users from the 4 and selling the other two to fund more tools.)
But my current favourite is the HNT Jack I made from a kit.

I love to get my old stanley#7 on a long joint edge board and hear that swish as a full length shaving wipes off again and again.
Regards Rod.

Reading comprehension not a strong point with you guys is it.
I will make 3 good ones out of the 4 sets of bits. Keep 1, sell 2. OK, I may have left out the 'keep 1' bit
Ian, how did you get Taswegian from 'Singleton NSW'?Please pay attention. There will be a test at the end.
