Sorry about the post above still learning to steer this phone.
No one makes a nice low closed height knuckle boom crane to suit a ute, but after using this one for years I can see where it would be so much better and have the plans in my head.
I only have a few photos of the crane getting painted etc because that was a long time before I was on any forums or computers.
I do have a full photo album of the truck build though.

Welcome back Dave, good to see you back.
I feel your pain with the phone, i thought Stuart had been having a stroke or something but now i know he has been on a tablet....

I haven't got around to the tank yet and it will be a while like I said in pm pm.
I highly recomend the wings on the tray as it gives more coolant catching area and folds out of the way for more space.

Thanks for the link to your thread Dave. Somehow I totally missed that one. I am however looking at how to best put some of these puppies together: https://www.woodworkforums.com/f65/md...3/#post1633872
Rather than thread-jack here, I will drop you a PM and post up another thread when I get a start on it. Cheers mate and welcome back!

Christmas will be huge this year, All the shopping done, all the grog bought, And to top it off after nearly 4 years split with the wife, it looks like Santa brought me an early Christmas pressy.
It looks as though I have a girlfriend that can put up with my shed habbits and loves to get out into the bush and hit the tracks... So maybe this is going to be OUR year DAVE !!!!!Warning Disclaimer
