Perhaps the warm beer is a hint to deter prospective visitors.

    Hi Burnsy,

A bit of work to be done on the Jet tables to bring them up to scratch and they will be like new.

Like the island bench, nice red Jarrah legs. Is a beauty.

    Cheers,
    Pops

It's a side effect of not having the power sorted in the shed - two outlets and lots of extension cords, electriction booked for holidays to sort it all out, then the fridge will have it's own point

Karri, I learned at school, burns to ash whereas jarrah leaves charcoal. I reckoned I could see the difference, but the teacher wooden believe me)

I like karri, Unfortunately, so do termites.

It has been a few weeks since I finished the butchers block so I thought I had better post a photo. Turned out really nice, great talking point for the markets and got plenty of interest from people wanting custom ones made to suit their kitchen, no orders yet though Sorry about the crappy photo.

    Hi Burnsy,

Very nice, good proportions. Hope you are handing out business cards with your details on for the follow up orders. Good item for commissions I reckon.

    Cheers

    Thanks

Business cards sat proudly on top next to the bottle of red (that was there to console me if no-one paid any interest) and were hot ticket items all day. Also had a portfolio of decks and other stuff I have done for peoples info. A lot of queries regarding decks and custom blocks, it is hard to get people to come up the hill to quote sometimes so people are always happy to grab the card of a local. Was all I wanted really as the money is not in making breadboards and boxes, it's in the big stuff.

    Cheers,
    Mike

Default Woohoo, the fridge has power!

Air conditioner install on Wednesday and my sparky had to be around all day so I put him to good use. 6 double GPO's all around the shed, three pendant GPO's and 6 double flouros - I can take photos at night without the flash going off

Spent an hour in the shed yesterday and got three hours worth of work done. It is amazing how much time you save when everything (including the fridge) has it's own power point and you don't have to run extension cords

    Hi Burnsy,

Well mate, that ain't no shed no more, it is a real workshop. Really like those hanging pendant GPOs much better than power cords across the floor I agree. Working at night will be a breeze with all those fluoros, made a big difference when I put a few in my shed.

Good to hear the fridge is now working, much shorter walk to those cold beers, I see you christened a couple there on the lay-up table.

    Cheers

Some of you people I really don't like, you and your "big" shops,
showing off, while I work away in my 12x16 closet.

Mine still isn't big enough and there are plans afoot for a renovation. I have done my time in single garages and under veranda eaves though.
