I'm just having fun scanning thousands of old photos! I came across several photos that show where my crush began! In a previous life (When I still had hair) I had the opportunity to meet HRH Charles and show him that I could make plastic models. He was very impressed!

It was fantastic to meet a man of a higher station, it was a rare opportunity for this commoner. I never washed my lab coat after that.

Perhaps HRH misunderstood and thought that broken structure in your hands represented the chain of succession to the throne. An easy mistake to make, but does explain his dejected look.

Ok so I don't really have a man-crush on Charlie if you didn't guess. I was just reading Enoch's Guide to Getting Ahead and it said to bignote yourself at every opportunity, so I did...

Actually, this is the fella I find pretty interesting...

Of the 25 or so minutes I think I lasted about 4 or so. Nice joinery however I think the words I'm trying to find are "full of himself". Or as you say, big noting.

I still maintain that my man crush on Steven Fry is healthy.

I think we all have a man crush hidden in there somewhere. Stephen Fry does have a wit and linguistic presence unlike any other. Bloody brilliant host of QI.

Hugh Jackman does it for me. Multi talented and a great family man, all while maintaining the body of an earth bound god. Makes me happy to see someone who can make it in the public eye and still retain his love and respect for his wife and family.

Be it known to all though, I'm also straight as a die although I have been accused otherwise on more occasions than one.

He's just a typical Yank perhaps in that he dares to become greater than he was. Full of himself maybe, and well deserved. He's survived a near fatal car accident, alcoholism and the murder of his sister, but he's gone on to become one of the most successful promoters of the craft in the US and a great role model to those coming through. I find him quite charming and self depricating. Perhaps I am deluded because I watched all 83 episodes in that build and several more hours of other pod casts. I should have stopped at four minutes of viewing to obtain the correct interpretation!

Sorry Mic, didn't mean to offend, I suppose I should of turned the sound off and looked. Where I come from humility is the norm and if I built that stunning Bombe Secretary then I probably would of let the images do the talking. I also don't have time to look into everyone's biography however he does seem to have had a hard time in life. Saying that, I consider him boastful and find that someone like Derek Cohen more of a role model and self-depreciating.
