    Hi Celeste,

At the moment I'm building a kitchen sink unit, which will also house a bar fridge, in our outdoor, but covered BBQ area.

I'm using hardwood timber for the frame and bench top and hardwood flooring timber for the outside sides of the unit from the bulk reject timber purchase of a few years back and the inside will be melamine.

The melamine was free (cover sheets from a kitchen cabinet maker) kitchen sink free from skip diving, electrical fittings free from an opshop so the only expense is plumbing and nails and the finishing.

If this works well I'll build a similar type of storage/serving bench on the other end of the bbq.

    Peter.

    Nor me Celeste,
Just stirring stirlo up like old farts do.
We've almost finished a reno on an accomodation area for visitors that we discovered white ants in.......(a window fell out). Did two walls, ceilings, new huge sliding door.
When I can reduce the pics properly I'll show you.......Reno from hell.

    John

It appears you are going to have to clear out a couple of spare bedrooms and move the woodwork into the house so you can keep working. Especially if you are going to keep coming over here in the summer to get away from that horrible English heat.
