Scottish Collies and dingoes. Not sure about dingoes, I think that might be a bit of a myth...

I'll give you scotish collies - as other than it not being "border" I'm buggered if I know for sure. You could also say two short coated pointed ear collies or two northern country collies from the rutherford blood lines.

from memeory, it isn't quite that simple. They originated from Collie breeds imported from Scotland and after a bit of cross breeding and interbreeding, the Kelpie was created. I've got one, and she's a pain in the **** !

We had collies when I was a kid and they were great working dogs but not good pets.
