I'm not going to get all hung up on this but in the interests of learning to be a better person, can anyone explain why someone would have disapproved of this: http://www.woodworkforums.ubeaut.com...8854#post58854

Beats me Darren, I thought your advice was correct and answered the question.

May be when a negative vote is cast the member's name should be disclosed and a reason given why they disapprove.

I just looked at my points and somebody disapproved of this post
    http://www.woodworkforums.ubeaut.com...9334#post59334

I also don't know why. I even acknowledged the fact that it was not my idea but got it from a magazine. Crazy. May be the same member will take another point for having raised this.

I think everybody is ganging up on me already. I got three negatives on the same day for my reply to http://www.woodworkforums.ubeaut.com...9149#post59149Damn. Who was it that was offering to sell their reputation points?

Neil, is it possible to set up a bartering system so that people who get too many points can swap them with people who are desparately needy of a better rep?

Thanks to Neil and company for making the board as free as it is. It is quite a nice mixture of woodwork and non-woodwork. I thoroughly enjoy everything I see and do here. I might even sell Bob some Browny points.... Nah, just kidding.
