Howdy all,
Thank you for your interest in my wellbeing - this
was not something I expected.
The story so far:
I saw my surgeon and said the waterworks were not
working properly. He put on his rubber glove and
made an inspection. He concluded that an operation
was the best way to go. I asked him to put his
glove on his other hand. When he asked me why
I said, "I want a second opinion".
When I checked the Sun newspaper the next day
I noticed that Sam Newman had made the front
page ... it was a bit disappointing for me as I
couldn't even make the death columns.
Even though I have no time for Sam I hope he makes
a good recovery as it is more serious than my
condition.
Will be back in the shed soon and will try to get
a couple of jokes on the Forum site shortly.

Apologies to everyone.
Unfortunately things took a turn for the worse
and I had to make an emergency trip back to
the hospital.
Four days there this week and I returned home
yesterday (Thursday).
Things are on the improve so hopefully all ok
from here on.
Thank you to the special Emails I have received
over the last couple of weeks or so ... it is nice
to know there are still people who care.

Allan good to see ya back and healthy.
You might not be able to make into the death notices, but you always make it into the funny pages hereI may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be.

Allan you rest this time after what you went through the 2nd time you deserve it.
I think you should put your experience in the thread I sent you not to scare or freighten but to make people aware.
