I'd really like to invite'use all but . . . .
a) it's not my place and owner has valid OHS issues about visitors on site.
b) it's not exactly an attractive place to hold any sort of woodie gathering, there is no woodie type shop/benches/tools (yet!) just a dusty yard and shed with lots of big machines (trucks, woodchipper/cherry pickers/stump grinders, forklifts etc) and piles of logs and woodchips etc, and a seatainer full of slabs. Way too dangerous for any kids for example.
If you are still interested to see all this, PM me and I'll see if I can arrange a one on one visit - I'm usually there saturdays and some times sundays. PM me a day or so ahead of time in case I am not there.
Owner and I are hopefully setting up more of a wood processing area in the future, this will also include a bit of a woodie area. If this all comes off I will then see what I can do about some sort of gathering.

I will volunteer my place for a get together, if one is needed. Rossmoyne is pretty central for all. Also, by then I should have much of the workshop back together and there will be lots of toys to play with if you like.

Yeah I actually gave it some thought mate... wouldnt mind it... but I reckon it would be a bit unfair on the fellas... sorta end up bein a right "busy bee" of a weekend I reckon got masses of crap to do around here to pretty it up to sell... be a bit of a shame gettin them all down here just to have to wear em out workin em all weekend!
But then again... I guess as long as Im upfront about it... mmmm not a bad idea I reckon!!
Sheds a bit of a mess just now... so what about the fellas come down say Saturday morning a couple of em get stuck in sorting that out... a couple finishin the trailer off a couple makin stuff off to one side lathe work that sorta thing... a couple outside getting the camper ready to come off... a couple mowing the lawns (theres only an acre and a half to go easy as!!) and a couple loading the trailer with gear for the tip... mmm and if I wander down and get some outdoor paint could even get a couple spray painting the exterior of the house eh!! Oh and then theres the deck to be made...
RIGHTIO!!! Thanks to the fanfriggintastic offer of yous other west aussie forumites its a goer at Dingo Creek... lets say next weekend? or what about the weekend after (no kidlets then) If more than 20 arrive then the barbie and beer on me!!(kidlets not included here need muscles!! yeah yeah sheilas can come too!!
)
There we go offers up there...lets see these buggars run now!!
Cheers

Thanks for the offers guys.
Ok, looks like a working bee at Dingo's, or plenty of toys to see at Derek's
are up for offer.
Any particular weekend, or day - ie Sat 27 Sept, Sun 28 Sept, Sat 4 Oct or Sun 5 Oct
I am off to Fiji on 15th Sept, then flying direct to Perth, so decisions need to be made ASAP so I know where and when to go and what to bring before I go.
