Anyway, I ripped up 7 boards in a hurry on Sunday. Great way to get rid of short boards and off cuts isn't it?

For cutting meat it is an advantage to have a cove around the edge to catch the juice.

Very nice boards though. Even at $50 a board it is only 38 boards for a TSC10HB!

yes it is a great way to get rid of offcuts and odd size pieces - you can use almost any size stick and laminate them to make them up from.

where would you sell them however - ebay's no good, you don't get enough for them to justify using good species.

I do like the brushbox colour for a cutting board.... but the jarrah is more stunning

They look very smart.
I especially like the pattern and colour combination of the purpleheart and maple.

I am amazed you got such clean joins on the Triton. I used to straighten my edges with the router.

Chop the garlic up first them the streak gets seasoned when you cut it up.
It is good to have a 'clean' side.

With the edge roundover on the MIL board I doubt if you would need handles.
