That is a beautiful rocking horse. One of the best, if not the best, I have seen. However, the accessories really let it down. It looks ordinary and I mean it in the nicest way.

    Default Decorative Woodwork Section

The winner in the decorative woodwork section was a Harp Guitar made from blackwood, King Billy, gidgee & myrtle burl.

Second placegetter was an Intarsia sea eagle made from cheese wood, blackwood, sassafras, waratah, stringy & King Billy.

Third placegetter was our very own Tony Ward with "Spring Growth" a two drawer bandsawn box in Australian red cedar.

    Default Woodturning Section

The woodturning section was won by a relatively small square edged fiddleback Tas oak bowl.

This bowl also won the best Tas oak entry across all categories.

Second was this magnificent Sassafras bowl wiyh a painted rim.

Third prize went to a segmented bowl made from huon pine blackwood & red gum.
