I was coming out of a hotel entrance door on one occassion at the sme time as a fella from a Rolla was coming in, and he put a pound note in my hand.

A friend of mine was a broadcast engineer with the ABC and had to go out to Tullamarine to set up an OB when John Williams arrived from overseas, Mr Williams can be a caustic prick at the best of times so when the interviewer approached him he asked if he could play a small piece, Williams obliged and my friend walked past and threw a 20c piece in his guitar case
Williams was not impressed.
