SWMBO gets a cuppa in bed every morning.
I do the washing up, cook about 50% of the meals, bake all the bread, do the lawns and about 20% of the garden.

I don't wash I don't iron and I don't cook I agree to stay away from the housework and my wife agrees to stay out of the shed and as far as my kids are concerned once they left home I took all their keys off them so they couldn't get back in.

    Altogether too blasted much!

I recently disposed of the services of my housekeeper as she just wasn't doing a decent job.

However, shirts 'n stuff goes to a laundry service now (better and cheaper than housekeepers woeful attempts).

Cleaning is no big deal as I'm reasonably tidy anyway.

Cooking is something I enjoy, so have always done this (even with GFODs MkI through Mk(not saying! ))

I have a garden service too as I loathe & detest gardening of any form

    Umm..How domestic am I?

Ok I am the one who organises the linen press...

I am the one who organises the tupperware... and I order it and have been known to host a party or two

My wife comes to me to find out where things are

I clean out the lint/coin filter in the washing machine

I write the shopping list .... and then do the shopping

I vaccuum, iron, pack and unpack dishwasher, clean showers, clean baths, clean children, nappies (ha I laugh in the face of evil)and yeah I too have used a small chisel to remove unwanteds from under my nails, cook, and do the rubbish..

My wife says one day I will make someone the perfect wife.

    Default Domestic bliss

We share the domestics here at home. I wash hang it out, cook, vac and what ever else needs to be done. Since Mrs bluegum has had a joey in the pouch I'm doing a bit more and I enjoy it. Domestic bliss on the home front is important. I also keep the yard & dogs under control and maintain the veggie patch. I find gardeing to be relaxing.

The bride does most of it in our home, I help out with the dishes 1-2 times per week & sometimes hang out the washing, but it's all her mostly.

The lawns & pretty much anything outside gets done by me.

I get to go out to work & she manages the house. Pretty straightforward.

    Cheers...............Sean

With only one daughter left at home it's pretty much shared here. Daughter gets bathrooms, vacuuming and dog feeding. SWMBO scores clothes washing, half the meals, most dusting and assorted bits and pieces including sharing the gardening. I score dishes, other half of the cooking, all ironing, lawns, car washing and windows. The last two are not on the frequest list I might add.

There is a bit of delegation and sharing of other bits and pieces, swmbo gets a cup of tea in bed before I head off to work, which keeps the morning nice and quiet and everyone does their own lunch and breakfast. Housework is best done and not thought about, if everyone pitches in at the stage our family is at it really is no big deal.

At castle Stinkalot the Stinkette and I share the cooking 50% each ..... I do all outside work, gardening, mowing, repairs, bins etc ....... I make my own lunch and breakfast, and wash myself.

The Stinkette washes and irons ...... dishwasher is shared.

We employ a house cleaner to do the rest.

Default I do nothing inside and that's the way it'll stay for now.

I work and she stays at home.

I can do all the domestic duties but only do it when there is no choice.

    I'm happy with that arrangement.

I do most of the domestic stuff at my place. This includes cooking, laundry, cleaning and looking after the kids (aged 2 and 3). I also do all of the outside stuff like mowing laws, trimming hedges etc.

My wife is the breadwinner in our family and I stay home and look after the kids. I gave up paid employment when my oldest kid was 3 months old and the plan is that I will go back to work once the kids go to school.

The decision for me to stay home and my wife to work was purely financial. She earns way more than I ever did.

I don't pee in the corner or on the furniture.

    Does this mean I'm domesticated?
I may be weird, but I'm saving up to become eccentric.
