    You should try it when the DB is running 263Gb and the raid (26 disks or something outrageous) is hammering lights all on solid dawn to dusk. All we need is for some twerp to run an intensive query in the foreground and the phone runs hot

    Hi Steve,

    That's still pretty small beer. Our customer DB (not transactions or addresses, etc, just basic customer info) is somewhat larger than 5.5 petabytes (i.e. 1024 Terabytes)...

    Mind you, I'm not exactly suggesting that uBeaut stump up the truckloads of $ necessary to build that kind of infrastructure
