So where did the 125V figure come from? Was it printed on the dead cap or did someone give you that figure?

When I was picking up the capacitors from the company I quizzed the tech about the 125V spec on the start capacitor, he said it might be the wrong capacitor for our grid, or sometimes motors have a 120v circuit for the start, I didn't press further because I have no knowledge to ask any further informed questions. But I now have a 400 uF 250V start cap and a 25 uF 250V run cap. It's been repaired and it's running fine
