I appreciate your responses, however besides the plethora of nonsense about opposible thumbs, hot water, monkeys, charging, etc... I would appreciate well thought out, valid and helpful advice.

MR Zed i guess u keep ur beans in the freezer ???
i know a friend had prob with his beans making a mess and he kept them inthe freezer and they stopped floating round also kept them fresher and they tasted much better .... cheers jules
