Heres one for you. A mum at school was telling us how her son the night before had told her to F*** O** and her husband heard it and gave the kid a walloping. Does not sound bad HUH. Well this was about 10 minutes after she had screamed at her son to Get the F*** over here.


Double stands or what. I dont use that kind of language. If the occasional S**t slips out within ear shot of my kids I apologise.

I have been trying of late to say "Blast" instead of F...ing ..ell".
I must only have said that once or twice in front of my 2yr old, but one day he dropped somehing and said F H. My jaw dropped and I have been saying blast ever since.
Even when I hit my thumb.

If I hit my thumb my standard response is 'Oh woe am I'

A lot of female coppers are the same. It's like they are trying to be 'one of the boys' but it just makes them look stupid IMO. Luckily MrsP is one of the good ones.

Interesting, Dan.
In my last few years at work we had 2 women come into what was and still is a male dominated area. I don't think I ever heard either of them swear. Most of us just watched our language for a while, then apologised when we said the wrong thing, but they said don't worry, so we didn't.

I forgot to add that when ever you have a get together with , it is expected that you wash his feet and stumps in olive oil.
And annoint them with the blood of a virgin, sounds off I know, but its what he expects.........:eek: Al
