Well yes I could have tired that!

(in fact I have a feeling I messaged the guy years ago about the incorrect picture links for his vacuum indicator base)

In years past I bought three indicator bases from Olivier, and an Interapid DTI. They all came quickly, very well packaged with a nice Swiss chocolate in the box to sweeten the unwrapping

A the time I was surprised at how cheap the SwissPost fees were compared ro the rest of Europe. Maybe that has changed? I remember paying less that €15 for postage for two indicator bases...less even that USPS flat rate at the time.

Well I heard from Olivier this afternoon (from another domain). Seems he got my money but the order didnt come through to him. As I received an email of the order details I assume something is up with his forwarding or filtering.

So hopefully they will be in the post soon.

I'm curious Stu. You have nearly as many indicators as Ray. What was the attraction of buying new from SQD? The second handies not up to the task?

    Hi BT,
Different sort. I "only" have five DTI's, four normal and the rotating styles one. These have the clockface on the end, surely that will come in handy one day

Does Olivier still include a Swiss chocolate in the box?

Very nice, I would say the face is a bit small, buy I guess with your optics you could make anything look big....

I have to ask though, what is a fixing shrank and what does one do with them???
