I played union at school No. 8, and would have voted for that and Soccer over AFL, although I'll watch pretty much anything if it's likely to be a good game, my preferences for the footy codes in order would be Football (Soccer), Union, League then AFL.
I got into AFL when I first came to Aus when I went to every home game the Swans played a few years ago when they made the final eight (still have the T-Shirt) and was present when Tony Lockett kicked a goal after the final siren to get them into the semi final I think it was, very exciting game that one but have lost interest since then.
HH.Always look on the bright side...
