    I've been waiting too. The question is whether this provides much more versatility than we have now with the various Festool guiding devices. There is also the question of how much better/worse this might be compared to the aluminium spacers sold on ebay (only suitable for those with the round pins)

    This device (to the best of my knowledge) is also marked out in imperial. Not the greatest for a metric device in a metric country.

    I have one of these and from my limited experience it's been a nice accessory. One advantages you have over the aluminum spacers is you're not limited to a select number of spacings. The MGS can be set to 9mm - 67mm and anywhere in between. Also you get two sets (four) of guide stops. This allows you to set up two different spacings and flip the stops to quickly switch between the spacings.

    As for the imperial markings, I've found them to be of no real use. I use calipers to set the stops.
