Well Cliff
I thought the picture of the moth was pretty cool, so here we are nearly a year on so I guess you are pretty gung ho with that camera by now.
How about some more interesting pictures.

Yeah I got a Pentax DSLR 1000KD with a Tamron SP AF90mm F/2.8 Di Macro Lens. Mainly Pentax because I had an old SLR and the lenses are interchangable.
I have a bit to learn yet...
Cliff those Powershots are pretty popular how are you finding it?

Good shots,
I like the look on that spider's face.
I haven't done much with my new camera yet, about 10 shots so far, mainly testing what it can do.
I did my homework & it came up very good in reviews on the internet.
The only real problem it has is with red eyes & that doesn't bother me too much 'cos I don't take that many party shots & red eye is easy to fix with software.
I did some searching for prices & scored it from the Camerastore.com.au of $399.00
I lashed out on the memory stick, got a 1Gb Extreme III high speed stick for $65.00
Freight was $16.00Last edited by Cliff Rogers; 29th December 2006 at 02:31 PM. Reason: To fix the prices & the name of the shop.

Nup, the PS A640 is 10mp... Cliff has the 630.
With mine(EOS400D) 1g is about 200 shots, lucky for 4g cards... 8g cards be nice but a bit exxcy still, better spend on lenses like thisy one http://www.canon.com.au/products/vis...fs10-22mm.html.....................................................................
