    Definitely
    Things like a double pot with water in the middle, gloves and glasses, low heat and also I think heating it out side.

    You could of course purchase a wax pot and use it for heating animal glue between melting wax.

    The majority of wax polishes I use, I make myself. It's handy to keep a selection of waxes for all eventualities.
