A fully automatic, 240 volt, self cleaning, high performance blocklayers trowel.
....
I tried hooking up a 3 prong 240 volt lead to my trowel, but all I got was electrocuted, so saftey is a big concern also.

A way to sharpen plane blades without removing them from the plane - I hate losing the settings I have found work because I have to take the blade out to sharpen it......

Closing down ......
.......... no, no, not a sale but my computer. I'm off to spend some time with a surgeon. I hope he has had more practice at cutting than I have, and I don't know how long I'll be away.

Yeah all the best Soth...
As for new inventions, I don't want much. Just...
A saw that will cut straight
A chisel that wont go blunt
A plane that wont dig in
Glue that dries when I want it to
Clamps that stay where I put them
Pens/pencils that don't go missing
Rulers that measure accurately
A hammer that wont hit my thumb
Oh, and World peace...

There is such a glue that dries when triggered by UV light, its similar to what dentists use.
An example http://www.norlandprod.com/adhesives.html. I don't know how effective it is with wood - especially in joints that would be hidden from the direct UV.

Yeah, it needs uv to set it off so only works on clear and opaque stuff like glass. Same stuff you use to stick your rear vision mirror onto your new windscreen.

That's all just a pile of BS hype. He's never going to get that thing successfully marketed even if he ever gets it to work properly.
You're going to need a pilots license to fly one, and they're not going to let people take off from their backyards in one. If everyone had one of those, they'd be pranging into each other, and dropping from the sky like flies.
Just buy yourself a plane or a helicopter. It would be much cheaper.I've got a bridge you can have for a lot less than a mil. It's turning a good profit.
edit: - Just do it on the cheap like Lawnchair Larry, or the Fan Man

10th February 2007, 12:07 PM #28a completely reversible glue that works to hold joints like Techniglue sets quickly with a burst of, for example a special sound or laser, but also disintegrates with another special sound or light when you realise that you have just glued up in the wrong order or you need to redesign the piece....
Doesn't need to be clamped, can be undone with a shot of ethanol, is 100% organic, environmentally friendly, cheap and has a lot of other uses.
