Un-bloody-believable. Fantastic stuff. Data is a couple of years old by the looks (only got the old shed), and not synchronised. E.g some of Adelaide is brown summer, and some is green winter. Shows my place's tin roof in all its glory.

I'm currently cruising around Baghdad. Quite interesting, Baghdad zoo, the informous football stadium, bunkers, burnt buildings etc.
Try turning on the "keyhole community BBS" under "layers". Some places have helpfull notations. Not many in Australia yet, but lots in US, China, etc.

On the shot of my place, you can actually see my son's car parked in the street outside! Quite amazing!

However, when I had a look at a couple of addresses of rellies in the UK, the resolution was nowhere near as good as it was for Australia and the US.

I can't get any of it on my ancient P.C. (It runs on steam), but I remember a picture I saw of a street scene, showing a tennis match being played in a back yard. You could see the ball in mid-flight over the net, and could read 'Slazenger' on it.
The picture was taken from eight miles up!

Under the file menu, there's a 'save image' item. Much easier than doing screencaps. DAMHIKT Adjust the size of the image in GoogleEarth (by dragging the borders) can shrink the image filesize.
