    how long did it take to carve out the piece of the sitting girl ?

    I guess it took about 10 hours, it's hard to say because I've just been going to my shed on cooler days for an hour or so.
    I've been carving for about 2 & half years now, haven't had any lessons, just flying blind so to speak but I really enjoy it.
    I've learnt lots from this forum.
