    Hi All.

    Dang!

Unfortunately, I won't be able to make it. The parents are meeting the to-be-inlaws in Ballina, so supervision is essential. Otherwise I would love to come.

Say 'hi' to everyone for me. I hope you have a rippa of a day.

    Cheers
    Tom

Take a spare kit and glued blanks - is one of the best spindle turners around.

    His turning demo's are outstanding.

Watching him turn a pen is out of this world. - When he is finished i have never seen him need to sand one yet.

    Cheers
    regards

Minw was a green salad. Obviously too healthy for blokes to eat when there wasn't any mothers around. Potato salad might be OK! Can you make it really fattening?

Hmmm, Wendy's potatoe salad is yum

    Great day had by all

Started by just hanging around relaxing and catching up, followed by lunch with agreat line up of food.

Then off to a sharpening demo on the Tormek by , a lot were mine , followed by turning demos with how to use the sharp chisels and technique specifics.

I demo'd turning a cast bansia Sierra, CA finishing my way, also resin casting, stabilization and glitter application.

Special thanks to Julie ('s SWIMBO) for all the help she gave me giving that woman's touch to the place before the mob arrived

    Here's some pics:

A few things were left behind:

    Cowboys stubby holder

    Small esky (Star?).

Weisy, you left behind the excess meat - I can bring it to hands-on, or keep it for the next BBQ?

Yep, their both mine. I had such a good day that I forgot them. I wasn't worried, infact left them there on purpose so I could come back to get to play in Neil's shed again.

Thanks to for the individual tuition on " The taming of the Skew " Probably did not help me much but at least I now have some idea of what I am supposed to do.

It was a great day and good to meet up with everybody again.

    Peter.

Thank you Neil for another fantastic GTG! Thanks to everyone for helping me load my timber into the car. It took me five trips to take it up to my shed

Lovely to meet Julie and catch up with again. So great to catch up with everyone.

    cheers
