    Default figure this?

You have much money in savings. You have a few pressing issues that need tending to. You boast to your friends about your savings. Who would?
You , as the matriach, patriach,....of your family, are hounded about these issues and how they need tending to .....NOW!

Health of your family. Education of your family. Local to you, enviroment , being decsimated, water reserves in your community dissapearing. And so on.

FOR THERE SAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not your egos.

Spend the bloody money you have. God knows you have heaps of it!
    NOT spending it all.
After you've spent it, YOU KNOW how frugal and conserative you are so you know you will save a huge amount AGAIN!

Do We wanna see a bank balance or results?

Answer me please. How much did the Libs say we saved and have to spend?

I am almost , strictly, an animal charity person.
I give to orgs that provide beds and food and warmth to those who need it NOW! People I mean and animals. Otherwise I'm all for animal charitys. Why don't animal charitys freature?
Is the human animal sooooo important ? How do you know? Are you religeous? I am!
Once a yr. I don't do xmas dinner or lunch. I don't do commercial xmas. Girlfriend is dissapointed. You have soooo many other days of the yr not to gather rellys to argue and get upset. Got me? 351 other days to gather! It happens for families to argue and bitch on this day!

I ....DO... a Catholic church to give thanks for the birth of Christ for an hr and then go fishing. I don't like to support the human pest who then only go on to stuff up the planet by FURTHER drawing upon its dwindling rescources.
    Tell me I'm too idealic.

Kevin???? Spend the bloody money......NOW! Health and education and the rest will follow.

I lie not therefore I will not make a very good politician.

    Cheers..........

Dampen their misery....sit with them and talk a little.

Buy them something to eat and a tram fare to a local mission.
I'm so lucky that I've somewhere to live and have family support.

I thought it was pretty obvious what he said "Kevin go forth and spend all the money on education, hospitals, animal shelters" and do your best to your party and clock up a great big foreign debt Yep pretty sure that's what he said.
    Cheers

Foreign debt is a terms of trade issue issue and not a Government spending issue. We have the largest foreign debt we ever had - far more than when P Costello was touring the country saying foreign debt aused our interest problems. The fact that we have such large surplusses given the increases in Govt Spending just means we have been taxed too much. The issue is what you spend it on and be good managers so that you run a small surplus. IMHO it is not good management to rely on overtaxing to get a surprisingly large surplus. Our growth has been driven by the WA mining boom and we are pretty much like Nahru. They were "good economic managers" and lived really well until the guano ran out - now they are just the owners of a worthless moonscape. All our Governments are short term thinkers because of that is what we collectively reward and punish.
