Um, Queensland ? and I'm pretty sure Sydney if not NSW.
But we weren't satisfied with that. Once under the control of a collection of councils Anna Bligh's government decided a separate bloated unaccountable bureaucracy should be formed and populated with labor mates.
Water and sewer charges have ballooned.
I happen to live next to Brisbane's principle water supply and whereas we had half a dozen people and a couple of old utes now we have about 40 staff and about 20 new cars. They have just spent 3 years painting the pipes, I guess no one told them pipes usually rust from the inside.I'm just a startled bunny in the headlights of life. L.J. Young.
We live in a free country. We have freedom of choice. You can choose to agree with me, or you can choose to be wrong.
Wait! No one told you your government was a sitcom?

It's the Capital of Australia, which is a joke in itself. Australia has plenty of Oil Gas and other commodities, but it can't really be measured properly because the Dipsticks are in Canberra.

The joke is, yes we have gas and coal, but no we can't have it as it is being exported.
The coal fired power stations are considered dirty and need to be closed down, but as yet there is no 100% replacement.
This applies in Victoria, other states might be different.

Plenty of hot air in Canberra to create steam for the turbines

Interestingly, have a blackout here for the last 5 hrs, internet has never been so fast and responsive, almost as if I'm directly connected to every server for the sites I frequent
