I finished turning the rims for the tyres and some pegs to hold them on. I went through the process of ebonising the tyres which took quite a few coats, but I got there in the end. I was under the impression that it would happen straight away, but it didn't.
Anyway, here are the assembled wheels. I have applied a coat of clear tonight (after the photo). I should get some more on and finish the whole Grader off over the weekend.

Your tires (tyres) came out great. The ebonising process is kind of fun to play around with.

Wouldn't it be great if we had a universal world and everything in English was spelt the same no matter where you live!
I have made up a brew of ebonishing fluid that I will keep for future use. I am not sure at this point if it works better if it has had time to mature, or whether the process is just the same.

Another shout out to your tires. They look fantastic. I'm not sure what your brew was but I know Vinegar does some awesome stuff. I tried making a brew out of it. Didn't quite get the hang of it. But I have been using it to derust alot of parts on the 64' Pickup I am restoring and the rust can make some crazy brews.

I've had a brew of it sitting on the shelf for about 6 months now. It just keeps turning darker and darker. I do not know at what point you throw it our and make new.

Finished
Well I have assembled it today for the final time. I had a few dramas with putting the clear on the wheels with it being so cold at night at the moment. All sorted now and I can move on to something new.
Thanks for all the comments along the way.
