Lance,
Fantastic results, but I’m glad you quickly got over the idea of holding a chunk of metal, an trying to stop the rotational force of the lathe,I’m pretty sure you are the same as us flesh.
Cheers Matt

Hi all, unfortunately I will be unavailable tomorrow. Perhaps someone else will set up a meeting and act as host? Otherwise scheduled viewing will resume next week.

Good morning all,
Today's meeting details, open to any and all who are at a loose end for half an hour.
We have a theme this week! What was the last new woodworking/turning technique you tried. It can be anything from cutting straight lines with a saw to parquetry for the Queen's private apartments.

It was really good to meet you Pagie. And Doug, sorry that we bailed on your one opportunity to date.
As always, really interesting discussion, and we always seem to run out of time... until next week.

Sorry Lance, not this week for me.
Another day of trying to get the Old Fruit-bat (AKA Mother-in-law) settled into an aged care facility in Benalla.
That's a five-hour round trip from home plus time on the ground there which includes a meeting with Administration at 11am.
I doubt I will get anything else done that day.
Maybe next week.I got sick of sitting around doing nothing - so I took up meditation.
