Cold weathers ok up there.
The creeks only freeze over a few inches,
Just jump up and down on the ice till it breaks.

Sounds like a weekend long project - we'll be rich.
That tiny little creek of ours has been flowing for about 5 or 6 weeks now, I wonder if that is worth looking at?- Wood Borer

If a bloke wanted to get a metal detector and do some prospecting, how much would he have to spend on a decent one?
Cheers

No, unless there is a 10 kilo nugget about 2mm under the dirt.
The big ones can be tuned and set to discriminate between ferrous and non ferrous metals, they can also be ground balanced and have a massive pair of coils whicj give them the depth they require.Stupidity kills. Absolute stupidity kills absolutely.

Yes Groggy, they can detect nails in timber.
At Eltham Woodworking Club we are not permitted to
run old wood thru the thicknesser or the planer
without running the detector over it first.
