Thank you ppl for the likes & comments.
I knew I couldn't get the exact stain match if I only did the new timber to try and match the existing even though the existing was still in very good nick. So i gave the existing timber a light sanding then used 4 coats of stain to get the raw really close then applied a coat of stain over the old timber...I am really happy with the result.

Another Project put to Bed....

Picked up Mattress & Cushions this morning...held up due to material on back order....but done & dusted and ready for an icy cold beerand a lie down
