    It must run in the family.

    I told my Mum when she came up for Sunday roast this evening and apparently, my dear old Nan had a headache many years ago (she was around 96 at the time and gone now) so she took what she thought was a Panamax tablet.

    The trouble was, it was her hearing aid battery. Luckily for her, she still had the blue plastic wrapping when Mum quizzed here about it and realized what she'd done.

    She got rushed to hospital and the Xray showed the battery still intact and making it's way past the stomach, where the acids were a concern if they dissolved the battery. . She was fine.
