It's a saw vice. Only small. 2kgs at most. Would probably sqeeze into a shoe box.... with a bit sticking out the end where you ripped it trying to sqeeze it in.

Now I gotta say, I'm all for beating APost at their own game, and I have been known to go to what may be called extraordinary lengths, for no particular advantage, in pursuit of this.
However, has anyone worked out the cost of posting said item? S'bout $11-12 to anywhere in Oz, even Singleton.
Apart from that, please don't let me spoil your fun. I only wished I seen the thread earlier (or paid attention). Very entertaining.Last edited by FenceFurniture; 7th March 2013 at 11:51 PM. Reason: Don't think AP could be accused of posying

Yep, it's on a pallet and they can load it with the forklift, I can't see any problems at all except he might not be able to fit the chair in.

Nah, what I mean is "oooooh, someone's getting a very nice "Comfort"able jobbie to play with in retirement".

You two seem to have missed the "free" part of the procedure. Besides this IS fun. And to be honest $12 is nearly 3x the price I paid for the vice.
A good test of the system too. I may need to purchase things from Sydney (or Perth)occasionally and it's nice to know I have a specialist courier network in place, ready to spring into action at a moments notice.
Chris i'll send you a pm. And I'll put my hand up to cover the Singleton leg of your new sawThose were the droids I was looking for.

Hum now where did I mention it was a FREE service
Besides its not me doing the driving here or the lifting and moving about so I'd be very thoughtful of taking that sort of attitude ATM LOML is not in the mood or doing well.
