I know that cooking chinese FOOD (thats for you, AL) is about knowing the cooking times of the cut up ingredients. This is the reason I haven't bothered, don't really want to get that fiddly. Be nice to learn the spice and flavour balancing though.

White man cooks chinese? I've been getting into cooking Japanese foods... Chinese won't be a problem, after all everyone knows that all things Japanese are superior to the Chinese.

    Cheers,

Come on Wongo, you started it - gimme a white man crack.

I wonder what they were really thinking at that point.
dont u watch "iron chef" they always make one each for the tasters, one for the chairman and one for the camera. the irtonchef/challenger gets to eat the camera one after the photos.

I imagine our own "Iron Chef Chinese" eats his photos too...

Hey, I took photos because I would like to write my own cook book in the future.

    Cook chicken & corn soup:
“crack eggs add to the hot water. When boiling add the sugar, the salt, chicken. Add potato starch, stir so soup like glue.”

Mick can translate it for me.

My Chinese mates call me a round eyed Gwielo, which I think means 'white ghost'

Never can tell tho, I wanted to put Chinese characters on my snowboard, got a Asian mate to write them out for me. Fortunately, I thought to double check at the local Chinese diner.

What was to read "Buddha rides with me" actually read "stick it up your ***, white boy"

Great sense of humour these guys.
