What am I missing.I went back for a look on ebay and $1200 was knocked back

I think you are looking at the bidder knocking back my counteroffer of 1200 - he offered a lesser amount; $900 I think from memory. I should have accepted the $900 but I was being greedy. The buy it now was $1500, then I put it down to $1200 so $900 looked like not enough at that stage.

You got to look at the issue as to what its for and its hard to figure that out. It looks like 2 display cabinets and a hall table combined. So it is only suited to a very large house with a large open hallway but what do you put to view in the glass sides. So its a very select piece and has a very limited market. Ebay I dont think is your place, after all everybody is debating what wood it is and really in the picture it could be well stained pine. So would I spend $1000 on any piece of furniture without a look at its rear etc, no way. Rob
