I think there should be a "hijack" section, where all successfully hijacked posts get transfered to. That way we know where to find them after they have been spirited out of the new posts section and we want to add another thought- of course if post gets back on topic it can get transfered back again.

    What was the question?

Actually the problem for Dudd is who are the labor voters
In the house of rep first prefference votes for labor were 5,388,147 but in the senate by group they were 4,116,971 now did all the senate voters vote first for labor in the house of reps and the 1.2 mill or so who diddn't are they sneakers or true believers or only after the shoe, do they realy have any sole or are they just heels who are tongue tied and running a platform or a wedge between the reps and the senate.
The patent answer has a point to slip on and that is how many that actually voted are one leggard, were they flat or athletic on voting day and how many were overseas in oxford and shod get the boot, or those whos under wear included a thong, sand all the covering off some and you would find they arn't true believers but the pen slippered and they voted wrongly still letto the dance keep running sensibly the gum flow freely and the odd hobnail stick up but in the end the answer is as stirlo said 7 or 42 depending on weather its an american fitting or a european one.

    Default 20 million left shoes

    The answer is 20 million.

9 million X 2 for the Laborites + 2 million x left shoes whether they fit or not for the one-legged voters of either persuasion.

I see today that the states and Federal Labor are going to assist with a further 25,000 heart operations..... reading the fine print...... however your heart has to be on the left side of the body

You've calculated using data that was not in the original question:

The question identified that there were one-legged voters, but failed to indicate that they were to be shod regardless of their vote. The name of the policy would suggest that one-legged liberals would miss out.

On balance, I think a panel of mediators would arrive at a figure of 19 Million shoes as the most likely result, not withstanding that we have no data on the labor/liberal voting stats of the one leg brigade.

You also failed to recognise that 90% of Queenslanders only wear thongs or bare feet, and the resulting storm of ebay shoe sales would depress the worldwide shoe market causing a collapse of the WSF exchange and possibly taking down several shoe-producing nations' economies.

Default Be satisfied with what you get you socialist lot

If you don't like the answer, write your own question......but 19,000,000 rates 9/10 (or 18/20)

It's not my fault that the only shoe sizes available are 11.

Apparently each comes with a free tape titled 'How to learn Mandarin' in 3 easy lessons'

    Ahhhh Come the revolution.......

    Then again...... It's already here....

Why don't they just give us socks. One size fits all and the people with one leg would have a spare and it would be less costly.
