Middle of NSW? St Kilda beach is a lot closer than Batemans Bay. Dave's is about 3 1/2 hours drive from Melbourne; a lot closer than the NSW coast, the Blue Mountains and, obviously, Sydney.

Dave, of course I'll be there. Don't know which day(s) yet.

Trevor, the useful box will be centrally located for easy access to potential Brougham (spelling?) parts, not strewn across the yard, on the verandahs, in the hallways, in the shed, in the street, in the museum....

I have updated the first post with a link to various places. You are welcome to camp in the driveway. Not sure how much hot water there will be depending on how many stay. SO far I have never run out so should be fine.
If you want free camping in the creek I can tell you where that is ... walking distance from my place

    How so?

As you well know, I'm often missing in action. I thought most people who know me would be used to it by now.

Of course, I WON'T sleep through the whole 3 days of the GTG so I'll be there.

OK guys putting together a menu .... something like this

    SATURDAY
    BreakfastCereal
    LunchSandwiches
    TeaBBQ

    SUNDAY
    BreakfastCereal
    LunchHamburgers
    TeaLasagne

    MONDAY
    BreakfastCereal
    LunchBBQ

Tea & Coffee will be available as will a variety of soft drinks, water and juice.

There will be no charge for food and drink but should you feel inclined to make a donation there will be a discreet tin for such.

If you can let me know as we get closer the time what day / days you will be there I can make sure there is plenty of food. If you have special dietary needs I will try to accommodate that too

I require lobster, sturgeon caviar and juice - or just choose one of them.

Still unsure of which days and how many mouths.

Oh, and make sure the discreet tin is not required for Trevor's next build!

Pavlova has been added to the menu.

For those coming if you happen to have a favourite folding chair or the like that you would like to bring that may be of benefit too

I would love to be there and meet up with everyone, but I have my brother's 70th birthday party on Saturday night. I haven't been to Jerilderie for about 35 years. One of our better footballers came from there many years ago (Billy Brownless)
I hope we get to see lots of photos posted just to make me more envious.

    four (lathe) beds...

    ...sorry...had to...couldn't help it...

Come on guys. Time for everyone to come out of the woodwork (bad pun, not initially intended) and indicate their intentions to Dave. It was a great, relaxed time last year.

Melbourne forumites; you're (at most) only 4 hours away and it is such an easy drive, mostly at 110km/h once past Kalkallo. We country folk do that standing on our heads, well, not whilst driving. Welcome all to the Riverina!

Just as well you country folk don't stand on your heads when you are driving, you would ruin your hats.

    Cheers
