    I have tried a bit of resawing on my s400p recently, I am sure I am not doing it right because I am not cutting a straight line..
    Likely to be a dull blade and pushing the wood too fast through it. Typical symptom.

    Incidentally, I have the Hammer 4400 and I would not call it "fiddly". Solid machine. I changed the blade 3 times today and each took about 2 minutes. The dust outlet is connected with a 4" hose to a 2 hp dust extractor. It does a decent job.

    Shouldn't be a dull blade, Albert has barely wiped the packing grease off his new saw!

    I was almost sold on the lower price of the N4400, but I wasn't sold on the waiting until november part!
