Tough Wood Lathe

Looks like you achieved a good finish. How did you hold the bowl on the faceplate?
Next job might be polishing up and lubricating the bed so the components slide easily when you need to move them.

Just wondering if anyone would have an owners Manual for a Tough Lathe? Would like to get a copy please.

A quick internet search did not bring up any result for me, but I believe Tough were Australian made copies of Woodfast lathes. If you are able to identify which model your lathe equates to this link may help:

Scroll down to Woodfast. Having said that, I don't know what era those manuals cover. Tough lathes are now quite old.

Stephen, several years ago, I restored an old Woodfast lathe. As a Paul said, it is very similar (the same?) as the Tough ones. In lieu of a manual, there are some photos of the head and tailstocks exploded, which you may find useful.
