Yeah see I have real problems with that. People keep bringing it up but the fact is that they barely touch her, while every other (male) politician gets strips ripped off them.

When that coalition bloke meowed at tranny wrong all hell broke loose, but call Pine a mincing poodle, that's fine.

Labour have a long demonstrated track record of attacking the person, the coalition stoop to that level a lot less often.

Gillard has had a soft run BECAUSE she is female.

You've maybe forgotten the vicious paradies of Hawke, Keeting (deserved), Howard and Rudd.

Bob Pink has had it easy too. No one dares send up his sexuality, go political correctness. That's why comedy is so weak these days. It's ok to make fun of me because I'm short, it's fine to depict blokes as thick, hook into smokers all you want, but overstep the PC line and your crucified.

BTW I bought "headcases" on dvd from the uk via ebay. $3.60 delivered, unbelievable. Spectacularly funny animated comedy sending up pollies and celebrities. Pity they ony made one series.

Did everyone see Dawe and Clark tonight!!

Apart from demonstrating the sad but farcical level of the asylum debate it was uproariously funny.

This (IMO) is one of the all time classics from Clarke and Dawe....for those who remember Paul Keating...[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1G_gfqJBP9g]Clarke and Dawe (09/10) - Paul Keating Fesses Up (Audio) - YouTube[/ame]

what if the hokey pokey is really what it's all about?
