But she's my faithful POS and when she's back on the road I will be asking about getting those plates back...

Shoulda just put the plates in storage with the Vic version of the RTA.

I am sometimes mystified by the message, example, a Hyundai Excel with a bleeding spoiler 'RUNVS', well, not really, best I saw was on a Range Rover 'IVXIV'.
Me, well, I've got yellow V plates with an 'orse on one side and my and SWMBO's birth year.
I have yet to see a plate with 'WANKER' but truly several deserve one, I can see the merits, one 'WANKER' gets done on a speed camera, every 'WANKER' gets a fine, social justice at work and the wallopers could then leave the rest of us alone.
It's a bit like the bloody NIssan Patrol with big letters on the side '4 X 4', of course it bloody well is, we all know that, maybe the owner needs some sort of reassurance, or is it so he/she can find it easily.

well I did have a set of Stainless Steel Moon disc's on it but lost one. Frickin road works left a huge step in the road level and I went over it a 60kmh. Slam! Immediately pulled over because I thought I popped both front tyres the impact was so bad. As I checked them, I noticed I was missing a hubcap. Looked everywhere up and down the road, down in the gullys...nada. Don't know when it went on vacation, have to get another set so I will have 3 spares. ...

I don't mind the naked west side look anyway. lol.

One that comes to mind is the rego GOLDXF on, of all things, a gold XF Falcom.

The car had so many key scratches on it it looked like it had driven through a barbed wire fence.

Every car on the road has personalised plates - unique set of letters and numbers for every car - just some eejits pay more for theirs than I do!

Not so many of them around here but I used to get a great laugh up in good old south west Sydney. And then there were the Asian kids in their Hondas done up like rally cars with sponsor stickers and over shoulder harnesses.

Nah, better things to spend the money on. But then for me these days, a car is just a way to get to the hardware shop.
