Sorry, I used to like the thought of a bit of a character as an umpire, but after watching the clown live for two days, I started to realise that his ability is as dodgy as his antics. Really, I was amazed at how he carries on and just how dodgy he is as an umpire. He should NOT be umpiring at international level. This doesn't prove it, just gives me something else to growl about. Umpires will make mistakes - it happens and I'm one of those funny ones who believes that they should be allowed to make blues and not to can them with slow motion, freeze frame, computer generated images. However, at the matches, I could pick flaws with BB from the boundary line using field glasses, some of his errors and misjudgements were obvious without the glasses and he copped a lot of derision as we watched the big screen replay. He shouldn't be out there.

And the now he's ruined a match. I don't care if it was a very hard decision to judge. All his other problems cancel that consideration out for me.

I think you guys will find BB should have given Kasper plum LBW a couple of overs before so alls well that ends well.

Great Test, very exciting. Role on Thursday.

Yeah well it looks as though Lee is out for this one. They were talking about dropping Kasper for Stewie but that might change now that Lee is uncertain.

You can't say we're not giving the poms their best chance of winning it.

BTW I think that people who immigrate to Australia should be forced by penalty of expulsion to support the Australian cricket team. You can't have your cake and eat it too.

Is Lee definitely out? I thought he was just "in doubt".

He did take a pretty big whack on the hand on Sunday though.

Just heard on the radio that they want him to fully recover from a knee infection before they let him bowl again. Not sure what that means.

Come on I've only been here 10 years, if Australia become the underdogs and lose the attitude I'll think about it

Although my wife is of a similar opinion to you and calls me a traitor when I support QLD in the State of Origin and England in the Cricket. I think I can't help supporting the underdog I think it comes from my support of West Ham who have broken my heart on many occaisions but still I support them.

This is what I don't get. With Australia it's "attitude" but with England it's "bulldog spirit".

I know what you're saying and England have built up a little attitude with recent successes. Maybe you need attitude to be successful, although it's a bit chicken and egg with success breeding the attitude but getting the success requiring attitude to some degree. We'll have to wait a while to see if they get an opportunity to build real attitude after the series is complete.

His whites seem to have special ventilation in the crutch, maybe this was just his expression after having the stump removed.

If at first you don't succeed, give something else a go. Life is far too short to waste time trying.
