    Default New Format forum

I check new post in the forum most mornings. If I make an error while I'm reading posts or visiting suggested other sites and had to resign in to the forum it remembered that I had only been gone a few minutes and the 'new posts' remained basicly the same. This morning I opened the new posts but shortly after went to other sites on the forum itself to help me understand the new format. When I came back to the new posts there were only 3 all posted during the time I was away. I couldn't see an easy way to get back to the earlier posts. Is it me or the new format?

Whitewood, usually that results from clicking on the Mark Forums Read option.

    Advanced Editor.

It was mentioned there are problems when going from Standard Edit to Advanced Edit. What I have seen twice now is when it changes from one to the other it goes into preview post mode; if you scroll down the Advanced Edit window is there as normal.

    Hey Cliff,
At least you haven't decided it looks like a nail yet.

Think you find that Bob has inserted the image as a full size image rather than inserting a thumbnail.

    Hi all,
Well I'm with Crowie, Reply #104. on this new Format ? To read all the Threads & Replies I have it Zoomed 4 Times the Norm.
To fit this all on my Page the Lettering is on Font 1. Why.
I would have rathered the Old Style, as Why Fix Something That Is Not BROKEN ?

The Font ? is way to small & would have been nice for the Lettering to have been Bold.
The White Background, makes it very hard on poor sighted People.
I really loved the Old Colours.
At the moment I find that I am going Less to the Forums than before.
Why can't I see all that I have Written, instead of a 50mm. Slot ???
Another Question, What is this " Sandstorm " & how do I Preview what I am Writing Now.

It was so much easier before, even I could work it.
    Regards,
    issatree.

If you go to Quick Links & click Today's Posts, you can fine what threads you missed, it won't reset the point that you had read up to, but you won't miss any threads that have been updated.
    Cliff.
If you find a post of mine that is missing a pic that you'd like to see, let me know & I'll see if I can find a copy.

I hear this all the time. It's called progress. If we all had that attitude, we'd still be scraping sticks with rocks to shape them.

You can use Activity Stream - Woodwork Forums - look at the filter on the right side of the screen, it can help reduce what you see.

There is a problem with the skin that may be fixed tonight, otherwise some more drastic action may be required. uBeaut will advise once he knows more.

Looks good to me too, nothing that I cannot live with. Well done guys, your efforts are appreciated. It is a big job introducing an upgrade. At least none of the old posts have been lost, and 99% of the previous functionality is still there
    regards,

    Dengy
