    Smile hi, new here

Am doing some renovations to my house here in Victoria. I need some advice on flat-pack kitchens. diy. I am in country Vic. so probably not a lot of choices. Anyone got any ideas??

Got my kitchen in Bunnings, its flatpax and it works well. two or three issues though, we rejected quite a bit of it due to broken corners and the like. Came to a stage the lass at the counter one time said I dont like the look of that box and she opened it and rejected it. The beauty of it is its all standard size, if you get fed up with it, new doors and its new again. Bench tops, well I made my own but I had 6 months of melamine sheets as my Faux tops, now its redgum.

Default things so much harder in the country

Thanks, but there is no bunnings nearby. Tis a bit frustrating. There is a Mitre10 and they do kitchens. has anyone seen or tried one of these.

    Thumbs up

G'day Zandi and welcome to all th fun of the fare.

Hop into the Renovate forums ( see left hand column on home page ) and have a squizz there. Lots of good advice to be had.

I guess the Mitre10 ktchens are pretty much the same as the Bunnies and the Bunnies are damned good value for money. Put one in a rental property myself.

Welcome zandi. I dont know if they do kitchens but if you have an Ikea store near you, worth a look. If not you may have to do a trip into a larger town where there will be some of the larger retail outles for that kind of thing.
    Reality is no background music.
    Cheers John
