I'd love to come along, but it's not a wheelchair-friendly venue.
.
I know you believe you understand what you think I wrote, but I'm not sure you realize that what you just read is not what I meant.

HI WW If its just getting you up the stairs I'm sure we can rustle up a few hands to get you and your rig up the stairs, or in through the back way (its a school so they should have access)
if its the crowds that make it hard to navigate, members get a VIP the night before, I think its $60 to join.
Or I'd be happy to play gopher/crowd controller/picker upper of things just out of reach for you on the day, I imagine I'll learn far more looking at the sale with you than if I wander round by my self.
let us know

Thanks men, I'm not waving the cripples' flag at all and I realise the association are probably glad of the venue, but it would be nice to attend without the fear of my wife putting her back out again trying to shove me around.
The members who know me are probably having a chuckle at your (very kind and thoughtful) offer. I think Melbourne Storm would need to be in attendance to get me up the stairs!
I've thought about joining HTPAA, but the main draw card for me would be the events and tool sales, so I'm still weighing up membership.
You're far too kind! I've never had a large tool kit, so I'm sure I wouldn't know what half of the stuff is. I'm really just looking to re-stock on some of the basics. I'm nearly there, but there are still a few blanks..
I know you believe you understand what you think I wrote, but I'm not sure you realize that what you just read is not what I meant.
