G'day all, nice to join you

Hi all,
juat thought I'd say g'day to everyone and put in a little bit about my self.

My name is Andrew, I'm a 28 and from Melbourne with an intrest in working with wood. I'm a qualified automotive mechanic and i work as a workshop leading hand at a vehicle hire company.

I haven't really worked with timber for about 10 or so years, since I was in high school. I always enjoyed creating new pieces of furniture in class and was one of the schools best in the wood work room.

Now I've got my carrer sorted out and a place of my own I'm about to build my first garage/workshop so I can get back into it. So I'll defienetly be pick all your brains for ideas and tips.

As a tinkerer -oops, mechanic - you should have no problems sorting out errant machinery. Just make sure you have lots of fun with the timber.
