Household tips
Use pegs to seal open chip packets to stop them going stale
Remove knobs off cupboard doors to stop kids getting into them, you just have to open them from the bottom.
Put a bed of rice with a piece of grease or bakers paper in the bottom of the biscuit barrel to soak up the moisture.
When the fly screen on your screen door breaks/tares or rip replace with shade cloth. Not only is it stronger it is also cheaper then replacing with more fly screen and it provides more shade. (This has saved me heaps of money over the years)
Spray cooking oil on the inside door knob to kids bedrooms this stops them getting out when in trouble. Hahahaha (I actually know someone who does this)
When moving house use tea bags in your fridge/fried absorb the moisture and stop it going moldy.
Use spay and wipe to get rid of water marks on tiles in the shower.
When buying refill fabric softener grab a few extra and store them in your linen cupboard, it makes your linen smell nice and keeps away the musty outdoors away. And you will always have some on hand when you run out.
To get rid of stubborn stains, marks and splatters in the microwave, half fill a bowel of water and put on for a few minutes, once it has finished let it sit in the microwave for a further 2 minutes, the steam will help move the marks and should just wipe off.
Hang your nice shirts on the line from under the arms to stop getting peg marks on the bottom or shoulders that are hard to iron out.
Talcum powder keeps ants away, so sprinkle some around where the ants get in and the ants will not cross that line.
Bicarb soda is great to remove red wine stains from clothes. Wet the area sprinkle some soda onto it, let it sit and fizzy up for a few about 5-10mins then wash as normal. If the stain doesn’t come out completely just re-do it again and stain should disappear. (I have done this a few times)
