This isn't quite a do it yourself question, but here goes.
We need to replace all the windows in our house. They are aluminium and poor quality. I want to use powder-coated aluminium replacements as we are near the ocean and the three front windows face West so I think that that would be the least labour intensive way to go.
How do I tell what is good quality? I don't know how to go about finding a good quality window with a thick frame. I think the thin frames look cheap.
Does anyone have a recommendation or website I can look at?
