Floorboard repair
I am currently renovating a house and in one of the bedrooms there a floorboards that start at the door and finish in the middle of the room, then another lot of boards have been laid from the middle to the otherside of the room, if you get my drift. What I am trying to say is instead of long full planks all the way across the room they have been cut in half finish in the middle of the room then start from the middle to the otherside. Some of the boards on the far side of the room need replacing. What I am wondering is do I replace just the half boards or reboard the entire floor with full lengths of planks??? Please help, I hope you understand what I am trying to say.
